Butterflies....

I just had to post this picture!

* Dear Anna,
Today I took some nature pictures of caterpillars in our backyard. It is so cool to watch the caterpillars form their cocoons and then one week later... hatch!!! I took a picture of the Orange-Barred Sulphur caterpillar. I will post a picture of the butterfly when it hatches. If I can catch it!
Love Bobbi :)

Kit's Typewriter

Dear Anna, Today all the girls and Charlie went to garage sales. Out of all the interesting things we found, we came across this old fashioned typewriter!!! The lady sold it to us for only 1 buck. Everything works on it except for the F's. I think it makes it more old fashioned. It is so cool. I feel just like Kit whenever I use it. What did you do this weekend?

Sea Bird Sanctuary

The Eastern Brown Pelican
Horned Owl

Collecting shells at the beach

The Red Shoulder Hawk

Hi Anna!, Yesterday we went to the sea bird sanctuary. I looked at all of the birds. We learned that the red shoulder hawk is different from the red tailed hawk. You can tell because the red shoulder hawks are smaller and their tails are not red, they are this grayish blackish color. The eastern brown pelican can live up to 20 years but die around the age of 10 years because they are threatened. Today in school I am writing about my favorite bird that I saw there. After we were done looking at the birds, we took a walk down to the beach! We collected some seashells to take home with us. I had a great time at the sea bird sanctuary. It would be fun to go there together one day!!!!
Love, Bobbi

Epcot and squirrels

baby squirrel
Epcot

little duck loved the United Kingdom
Dear Anna,
This week we did many things. We went to Epcot and visited all the countries. This duck followed us around the United Kingdom at Epcot. My Daddy brought home a baby squirrel that had fallen out of its nest...or tree. It was super cute. It wasn't scared of us at all! We hand fed it sunflower seeds. What have you been doing?
